Battle

Good, the preacher told me,
Was a thing with wings,
A beautiful melody,
And healing powers.

Bad, the preacher told me,
Was a thing with horns,
An evil laugh,
And destruction tendencies.

Good, the dictionary told me,
Was a favorable character.
Something containing less fat.

Bad, the dictionary told me,
Was failing to reach an acceptable standard.
Morally objectionable.

Good, someone told me,
Was something kind people do.

Bad, someone told me,
Was something evil people do.

But where do we draw the line?
